Spot nickel premiums in China remained at low levels after the Chinese New Year holiday, due to low demand and high supply.
Traders were offering premiums for mainstream Norilsk plate at around $50-100 per tonne in Shanghai and Ningbo on Friday, compared to $60-100 on January 13.
