Spot flat products prices in China are expected to rise next week, on increased demand and as steel mills hike March ex-works prices.
“More traders and downstream buyers will come back to work next week, so we expect a marked increase in demand,” an analyst in Shanghai said.
The market is anticipating a rise in Baosteel’s flat product prices next week, with other mills expected to follow, an analyst in Beijing said.
