Metal Bulletin’s Daily Ferrous Scrap Index fell to $433.64 per tonne cfr Iskenderun for HMS 1&2 (80:20) on Friday February 3, from $434.21 a day earlier.
The latest deal to come to the market shows prices have softened since the start of the week.
An ex-US cargo was sold to a northern Turkish buyer at $435 per tonne cfr for HMS 1&2 (80:20) and $440 per tonne cfr for shredded material, down from sales confirmed earlier...
