US copper, brass distributors, suppliers outlook improving

Sentiment among downstream players in the copper and brass industry is increasingly optimistic.

Those numbers are up significantly from the previous month, when just 20.8 percent of copper and brass service centers and 25 percent of suppliers said they expected order entry to improve (AMM, Jan. 2).

Meanwhile, 52.4 percent of service centers and 30 percent of suppliers polled in January said they expect order levels to remain about the same over...
