US ferrosilicon up as stainless mills ‘running hot’

Ferrosilicon prices in the domestic market have moved up steadily as consumers are said to be looking for prompt material.

"It all depends on who’s got material," according to one trader, who sold a significant amount of material to a steel mill outside of AMM’s range due to very prompt delivery.
