US copper scrap spreads slow to budge

Copper scrap spreads have shown little movement despite a fluctuating primary metal price on Comex, market participants told AMM.

Spreads on No. 1 copper scrap trailed the Comex price by 20 to 23 cents, widening from a 19- to 22-cent discount previously.
