China’s indium prices are rising quickly as environmental checks are ramped up in Guangxi province after a pollution scare.
On the spot market, refined indium rose above 3,600 yuan ($569) per kg on Monday, compared with 3,400-3,550 yuan per kg last Friday. Some are even offering as high as 3,800 yuan per kg, traders told Metal Bulletin.
