Recycler sued over copper scrap payments

Marietta Recycling Corp. is being sued by Georgia development company Windamir Development Inc., which alleges that the scrap company failed to fully pay for copper scrap it purchased.
According to a scale purchase ticket, Marietta Recycling said it would pay for bare bright, No. 1 and No. 2 items, as well as 78-percent and 88-percent grades of copper wire—both worth less than the other items. Those lesser grades weren’t discussed...
