China's daily crude steel output rose 0.23% in late January, as mills increased production on low raw materials prices and expectation of improved demand, according to the latest estimates from the China Iron & Steel Assn (Cisa).
China produced an average of 1.673 million tonnes of crude steel in last ten days of January, up from 1.669 million tonnes during the second ten days of January.
