Nickel and tin prices continue upward trend in LME pre-market

Nickel and tin prices continued to show strength during pre-market trading on the London Metal Exchange on Wednesday February 8.
Tin prices opened at $25,260 per tonne, basis three months, before reaching a high during the session of $25,880, with a low of $25,106.
“There’s less tin available, and from a technical point of view, it’s also showing signs of going up,” a category I trader told Metal Bulletin.
“We’ve had what we call a flag formation, which indicates it’s going up to about $26,500 per tonne.”
