Iran's Esco doubles sintering capacity with fourth plant

Iran’s Esfahan Steel Co (Esco) doubled its sintering capacity with the official launch of its fourth agglomeration plant on Tuesday February 7, the company said.
The new 2.4 million tpy facility was inaugurated by vp Mohammad Reza Rahimi.
It will join the company’s three existing facilities, which have a combined capacity of 2.4 million tpy. All three underwent renovation at the same time the fourth plant was being constructed, and will employ 111 people when fully operational, Esco said.
