Russia’s sales of new passenger cars and light commercial vehicles in January were up by 20% year-on-year, the Assn of European Businesses (AEB) said on Wednesday February 8.
Russian steelmakers expect the construction of new automobile- and component-producing plants by international carmakers, lured by strong growth prospects, to be one of the key drivers of domestic steel demand in the next few years.
