Rusal secures aluminium fluoride supply with long-term agreement

United Co Rusal has further secured its raw material supply by signing an agreement with Russian fertilizer producer PhosAgro for the supply of fluoric salts until 2034. The agreement was signed on Wednesday February 8.
PhosAgro supplies 23,000 tpy of aluminium fluoride to Rusal, and plans to invest 2.2 billion roubles ($73.6 million) to increase the production of supplies for Rusal at its Ammophos subsidiary in the Vologda region by 12,000 tpy.
