Base metals prices faltered during the kerb session on the London Metal Exchange on Wednesday February 8, as anxiety over continuing European debt issues kept trading subdued.
Three-month tin prices closed at $25,400 per tonne, basis three months, compared with $25,500 per tonne the day before, after climbing as high as $25,880 on Wednesday.
