MINING INDABA 2012: Africa biggest investment area for Vale in 2012

Brazilian mining major Vale will invest more in its African projects than in any other region in 2012, procurement director Paulo Couto told delegates at the Mining Indaba in Cape Town on Wednesday February 8.
“Africa will be the leading area for investments in 2012,” said Couto.
A large proportion of Vale’s African investment budget will be spent on the miner’s major coal and iron ore projects in Guinea and Mozambique.
