Coal of Africa (CoAL) will consider a primary listing on the London Stock Exchange this year as the company makes its transformation from an exploration concern into a mining company, ceo John Wallington said on the sidelines of the Mining Indaba in South Africa on Thursday February 9.
“We are definitely looking at a primary listing in London for this year. It has such a large investor base and, if you look at our share register, our predominant shareholding is in the UK,” he told Metal Bulletin.
“We’ll see where that takes us,” he said, adding that for now CoAL’s focus will remain on the production of coking coal, but in the future it may look at developing...
