Rusal to build prototype facility for red mud recycling

United Co Rusal will build a prototype facility for the recycling of alumina production waste – otherwise known as red mud – at its Urals aluminium smelter (UAZ) in Russia’s Sverdlovsk region, it said on Thursday February 9.
