LME 3-month billet prices fall though optimism persists

London Metal Exchange three-month steel billet prices broke their three-day upward trend as levels fell by $1-9 per tonne on Thursday February 9.
The official bid/offer spread was $506/516 per tonne on the day, compared with $515/517 on Wednesday.
Bids and offers on the LME’s select electronic trading platform were respectively $506 and $512, at 16:40, London time.
