Evraz NA receives go-ahead to build baghouse

Evraz Inc. North America’s steelmaking complex in Claymont, Del., has received approval to build a new baghouse to reduce dust emissions at the facility.
The new baghouse will almost double the plant’s particulate collection and filter system by August 2013, the state agency said. The cost of the project was not disclosed.
"We believe that these improvements will set this facility on a path toward long-term compliance, reducing local impacts and improving air quality for local residents," DNREC secretary Collin O’Mara said in a statement.
