Bismuth prices on the ask side rose further after some producers temporarily suspended production.
Metal Bulletin bismuth prices in China gained 1,000-1,500 yuan on Friday, climbing to 140,000-142,000 yuan per tonne ($10.1-10.2 per lb), from 138,000-141,000 yuan per tonne on Wednesday.
