Turkish mini-mills lower domestic billet prices by $20 on lower scrap costs

Turkish billet producers have cut domestic prices by $20 per tonne to reflect lower ferrous scrap costs and a slowdown in local buying activity.

Billet has been changing hands in the domestic market at $585-590 per tonne exw for February production and shipment, compared with earlier deals concluded at $605-610 exw previously. Re-rollers have been purchasing...
