US silicomanganese prices push higher

Silicomanganese tags are still trending upward in the domestic market amid continued supply tightness and a recent price hike by the largest U.S. supplier.
Silicomanganese is now trading at 60 to 62 cents per pound, up from 57 to 59 cents previously, with significant amounts sold in the new price range over the past week.
Miami-based Felman Trading Inc., which supplies more than 50 percent of the domestic market, set its regular silicomanganese sales price for February at 61.5 cents per pound...
