Steel prices in China advanced again on Wednesday February 22 after more major steelmakers raised their prices and the market for semi-finished products strengthened.
Spot prices for flat and long products in all regions rose again after modest increases on February 21 on moves by China’s central bank to spur lending.
Hebei Steel raised its rebar price late on Tuesday, and on Wednesday morning Anshan Steel pushed for higher flat product prices.
