Southeast Asia will have a 22.5 million tpy integrated steel plant, its largest, by 2020.
Taiwan's Formosa Plastics Group has decided to upscale the capacity of its integrated steel works in Vietnam to 22.5 million tpy, up from an originally planned 15 million tpy, to meet growing global demand for steel, a senior official told Metal Bulletin.
