Brazilian flat steel producer Usiminas is negotiating with the country’s industrial sector to increase domestic flat steel prices by 5-7% in August or September, commercial vp Sérgio Leite said during a call for analysts on Tuesday July 31.
“We are in talks with non-automotive industries, since we have long-term contracts with the auto sector and we intend to fulfil them,” Leite added.
