China’s central government authorities have said that the expansion of aluminium capacity in the country's northwestern Xinjiang region should be restricted, according to a report by local media.
A research team sent by China's National Development and
Reform Commission (NDRC) presented their conclusion from a tour
in Xinjiang that reining in aluminium capacity is a
"major task" and that controlling the overproduction of
