Turkey’s domestic flat steel market has been quiet due to the holiday season, but offer prices have continued climbing.
Import suppliers in Europe and CIS countries remained silent this week because of the Christmas holidays, but they are expected to offer new prices in the second week of January 2013.
Both electric arc furnace and blast furnace-based producers in Turkey were asking $600-610 per tonne ex-works...
