Charge chrome prices rose in China on Friday January 24, as South African producers raised offers following the conclusion of quarterly deals with large mills in China.
Metal Bulletin’s index price for charge chrome
cif Shanghai rose 2 cents to 87 cents per lb. A number of
concluded deals were reported in a range of just over 86 cents
per lb to just below 88 cents per lb. Two producer sources
assessed the market at 85-86 cents per lb while assessments and
offers reported by traders in China came...
