Nickel’s price dip on the London Metal Exchange this week pushed the UK and European 18/8 stainless scrap solids prices down, market sources told Metal Bulletin sister publication Steel First on Friday, February 28.
On February 27, nickel closed on the LME at $14,210/14,215
