Europe stainless steel sheet price
Domestic European stainless steel grade 304 and 316 sheet and bar producers have continued to push for further base price increases, market sources told Metal Bulletin sister publication Steel First on Friday April 11.
"Mills have announced that they will push for another
€50 ($69) per tonne on top of current prices. Whether that
will be realised is a different story, of course," one source
in Northern Europe said. For now, base prices for 2mm 304
cold-rolled (CR) stainless sheet have remained at last
week’s €1,100-1,120 ($1,525-1,553) per tonne
delivered for June and July...
