Southern European rebar export prices up $7 despite weak activity

Rebar export prices for material from Southern Europe have increased by €5 ($7) per tonne week-on-week, market sources told Steel First on Wednesday April 16.
Transaction levels remained low, however, ahead of elections
in Algeria and because of the Easter holidays. "The intention
is there to increase prices, but there are no requirements
coming from the market," a producing source...
