Base metals prices crept higher during kerb trading on the London Metal Exchange on Tuesday April 22, as stronger equity markets boosted risk taking.
Three-month aluminium closed at $1,891 per tonne up from its
previous close at $1,855 per tonne. "Everything is a bit
stronger today. It is a combination of a risk on mode in the
market with equity markets on the rise […] and also
stock changes we have witnessed over the recent days, with
copper inventories sliding, tin cancelled warrants on the rise
and nickel inventories dragging down, have also...
