EC launches trade case on CR stainless from China, Taiwan

The European Commission has launched an investigation into cold-rolled (CR) stainless steel imported into the European Union from China and Taiwan, the European steel association Eurofer said on Thursday June 26.
Eurofer confirmed it had filed a complaint, against alleged
dumping of the material by Chinese and Taiwanese exporters in
mid-May, on behalf of a "major portion" of producers in Europe.
Former Eurofer president and Voestalpine ceo Wolfgang Eder
previously said an investigation had been launched and
that more trade cases were expected to be filed in the second
