EC launches trade case on CR stainless from China, Taiwan

The European Commission has launched an investigation into cold-rolled (CR) stainless steel imported into the European Union from China and Taiwan, the European steel association Eurofer said on Thursday June 26.

Eurofer confirmed it had filed a complaint, against alleged dumping of the material by Chinese and Taiwanese exporters in mid-May, on behalf of a "major portion" of producers in Europe.
