Barrick Gold, Ma’aden to form jv for Saudia Arabian copper mine

Barrick Gold Corp will form a joint venture with Saudi Arabian Mining Company (Ma’aden) to operate the Jabal Sayid copper mine that is expected to start in late 2015.
Ma’aden will buy a 50 percent stake in the
project, located 120 km southeast of Medina, Saudi Arbaia, for
$210 million, the Toronto-based company said in a statement on
