Trading in the Southern European rebar export market continued at a standstill as opportunistic bids from Algeria were ignored, sources told Metal Bulletin sister title Steel First on Wednesday July 16.
Rebar bids from Algeria were heard at €405-410
($551-558) per tonne fob main Southern European ports
– €15 ($20) per tonne below the previous trading
