LME ASIAN WRAP: Copper price down on tense geopolitics, US data

The London Metal Exchange copper prices were down during Asian morning trading on Monday August 4 as geopolitical tensions fuelled risk aversion.
At 02:03 London time, the three-month copper contract was
down $9 from its opening to trade at $7,081 per tonne. On
