Shanghai copper prices dip amid weak US data

The Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) copper prices drifted lower on Monday August 4 over global economic concerns and dull domestic demand.
The October copper contract on the SHFE closed 310 yuan
($50.26) lower than the previous day at 50,220 yuan
per tonne. According to data released on Friday August 1,
nonfarm payrolls in the USA rose 209,000 in July,
after increasing by 298,000 in June and
