Optional field trip to Campine Recycling plant in Beerse on Wednesday 6th April 2011
With an annual production capacity of 50,000 tons of refined lead and lead alloys, Campine Recycling is the largest battery recycler in the Benelux and a key player at European level.
Campine recycles yearly more than 60 000 tons of lead-acid batteries and transforms them into pure soft lead and alloys. Most of the production is further sold in Europe in many of the lead applications.

Delegates will depart from the conference hotel on the afternoon of Wednesday 6th for the bus trip to Campine Recycling in Beerse. After a tour of the plant and dinner hosted by Campine they will return to Brussels late in the evening.
