Field trip to Deutsche Edelstahlwerke, Thursday 3 September

Deutsche Edelstahlwerke GmbH is an industry leading company focused on the production of specialty steel long products. They are a part of SCHMOLZ + BICKENBACH Group, the world’s largest manufacturer, processor and distributor of special steel long products.

The Witten Plant is the biggest single-site tool steel mill in the world and an industry benchmark in terms of technology and productivity in the production of continuous cast and ingot cast high rolled and forged high alloyed bar products.

Deutsche Edelstahlwerke will host you at the Witten plant for a site tour and networking lunch. Transport will be provided to an from the Hilton. Places are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
