Zambia’s mining industry prepares for boost - BASE METALS

Despite the problems in southern Africa, investors remain confident that
the region continues to hold significant potential for base metals mining.
A scoping study will begin in the new year at the Kabwe lead and zinc
project, sources close to the project told MB. It will be conducted by
Mackay & Schnellman on behalf of London-based Coronation International
Mining, the majority owner of the project which is currently Zambia’s

only lead and zinc asset. A feasibility study is expected...
