Tulachermet confirms vanadium deal

Pig iron producer Tulachermet has confirmed that it has bought the controlling stake in Tulachermet Vanadium from Eastlink Lanker.

He added that both companies are maintaining a dialogue and that the first concern for the new owners is the fulfilment of Eastlink's outstanding contractual obligations.

Both production lines at the plant have resumed output and are running at around 30% of their capacity after production was halted in February. Mishin said that there are no plans to bring the plant up to full capacity in the short term.
