CIS-origin pig iron price levels hold steady, lack direction

Export prices for CIS-origin pig iron have held steady for another week, as severe autumn price declines come to an end.

Russia-origin material was heard offered this week at $445-460 per tonne fob Baltic ports. Pig iron from the Ukraine was heard offered at $425 per tonne fob Black Sea ports, but traders said no deals had been concluded at levels higher than $415.
