CBMX platform concludes 1.6m tonnes of iron ore deals

A total of 1.6 million tonnes of iron ore have been traded through the physical iron ore trading platform at the China Beijing International Mining Exchange (CBMX) as of Wednesday May 30.

The volume represents $216.3 million in value across 13 transactions since the platform’s launch on May 8, according to CBMX president Dong Chaobin.
