Copper prices finished at fresh year-to-date lows in kerb trading on the London Metal Exchange on Thursday May 31, as disappointing US data contributed to a further slide in the euro in the afternoon.

Three-month copper prices closed for the day at $7,425 per tonne, down from $7,477.5 per tonne a day earlier and at a fresh five-month low.
