SA producers to argue against Eskom hikes at January hearings

Industry players are devising their strategies on how they will present their cases to the National Energy Regulator of South Africa (Nersa) in January, when the regulator will start public hearings on Eskom’s proposed 16%-per-year tariff increases for five years.

The public hearings will start on January 15, the National Energy Regulator of South Africa (Nersa) said on December 14, and would run in all provinces to January 31.
