Anglo American cuts management team size, consolidates business units

Anglo American has cut the size of its senior management team from 16 to 12 and consolidated ten business units into six groups, to create a more manageable structure, the company said.

“We have announced a number of management changes for Anglo American, to create a more efficient and agile organisation and provide clearer accountability across the senior team,” Mark Cutifani, Anglo American’s ceo, said in a statement.
