Acerinox expects stainless steel market to pick up in September

Stainless steel group Acerinox expects Europe’s stainless steel market to pick up in September as the summer holidays end and the nickel price rises, a company spokeswoman told Steel First on Wednesday August 28.


On Tuesday, the Madrid-based producer announced two consecutive monthly price increases of €50 ($67) per tonne.
