LME OFFICIALS: Copper prices up as stocks hit eight-month low

London Metal Exchange copper prices rose $55 on an official basis on Wednesday October 30 as stocks declined to the lowest level in almost eight months, sources told Metal Bulletin.

Three-month copper prices settled at $7,277/278 per tonne during official trading, up from $7,222/7,224 per tonne on Tuesday and an opening price of $7,202.25 per tonne.
