EU, Germany agree on tax reform for energy-intensive industries

The European Commission and the German government agreed on renewable energy tax reforms late on Monday April 7, including discounts for energy-intensive industries such as steelmaking.


The deal was announced by German energy and economics minister Sigmar Gabriel in Berlin on Tuesday.
