NWR prepares Paskov coking coal mine closure proposal for Czech state

OKD, the mining subsidiary of New World Resources (NWR), will submit a proposal to the Czech state for the terms of closure of the Paskov coking coal mine, NWR said on Tuesday April 22.


The proposal is based on an agreement made between OKD and certain members of the government, according to London-, Prague- and Warsaw-listed NWR. Under the agreement, OKD will continue mine operations for its own account until the end of 2017, after which the state will provide CZK600...
